Bruce W. Diamond - President and Chief Executive Officer

Bruce brings more than 25 years of semiconductor industry experience in management and operations. He was previously the Chief Executive Officer of WJ Communications, a leading supplier of radio frequency (RF) solutions for wireless infrastructure. Bruce transformed the company’s operations and managed it through its acquisition by TriQuint Semiconductor (NASDAQ: TQNT). Prior to this, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Zilog Corporation (NASDAQ: ZILG), the leading provider of integrated 8-bit microcontrollers (MCU) and universal remote control solutions. Bruce has also held management positions at Sipex Corporation, RFIC leader ANADIGICS, and National Semiconductor. Bruce received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.


 

Wan-Thai Hsu, Ph.D. - Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Hsu brings more than 15 years of experience in MEMS technology. He is one of the most prolific researchers and inventors in the area of silicon and metal resonators with his doctoral work leading to the birth of Discera in 2001.  Since then, he has led the Discera technical team in the development of silicon resonators with high performance, reliability, and manufacturability. These efforts paved the road and set the reference standard for the entire silicon oscillator industry, leading to him being named Innovator of the Year at the 2007 EE Times Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards for his pioneering work in MEMS technology. He has published more than 30 technical papers and has holds 8 patents. Dr. Hsu received an Executive MBA and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.




Arvinder Chadha - Vice President of Operations

Arvinder brings over 25 years of experience in the areas of manufacturing, operations, quality, and reliability.  He previously co-founded SpectraLinear, a timing company that was acquired by Silicon Labs (NASDAQ: SLAB) in 2011.  Prior to that, Arvinder served as Director of Operations for the timing division at Cypress Semiconductor, Vice President of Operations at International Microcircuits, Inc. (IMI), and held multiple management positions at Exar Corporation.  Arvinder received an M.S. and a B.S. in Engineering from Oregon State University and Jabalpur University in India.


 

Hernan DeGuzman - Vice President of Sales

Hernan brings over 25 years of electronics and semiconductor experience in sales, marketing, and engineering.  He was previously Vice President of Marketing at Supertex (NASDAQ: SUPX),
a high voltage, mixed-signal analog company, in which he also held the position of Vice President of Asia Sales, responsible for the company's sales growth in the Japan, Korea, and the rest of the region.  Hernan previously held positions in sales management and applications engineering at Power Integration and Unitrode.  Prior to this, Hernan was an electronics design engineer at Space Systems Loral and Hughes Aircraft.  Hernan received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.

 

  

Sheung Li – Vice President of Marketing

Sheung brings more than 15 years of experience in building the market for innovative technologies. He was previously the Director of Product Development and Marketing of SiBEAM, where he debuted Gigabit Wireless and Full HD Wireless Display chipsets in the consumer electronics and personal computing markets. Prior to this, he was responsible for product management at Atheros Communications (NASDAQ: ATHR), launching the six generations of
Wi-Fi semiconductors that led to the company’s first $250mm of revenue and IPO. Sheung has also held management positions at 3Com Corporation, the Technology M&A group of Wasserstein Perella & Co., and virtual reality pioneer Marketing Technology Interface. He is the Vice Chair of the IEEE 802.11n task group, a Rapporteur of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute, and holds patents in low power and adaptive radio technologies. Sheung received a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and both a M.S. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and an MBA from Stanford University.

 

 
Graham Mostyn - Vice President of ASIC Engineering

Graham leads the engineering team, developing and integrating advanced CMOS oscillators with MEMS resonator technology. He was previously the Vice President of Engineering at worldwide RFID leader Intelleflex, where he led the development of advanced active-tag reader technology, streaming data processing innovator Chameleon Systems, and cellular wireless infrastructure provider Conductus, acquired by Superconductor Technologies (NASDAQ: SCON). Graham brought revolutionary superconducting wireless technology to the cellular marketplace at Conductus, shipping base station RF subsystem equipment to major service providers. He began his career in semiconductors at Intersil, where he built and led teams developing mixed-signal CMOS products including the world’s first 5 1/2 digit precision digital voltmeter circuit, and holds patents in analog IC design. Graham received both a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Physics from Trinity College at the University of Cambridge, U.K.
