Discera is a fabless semiconductor company. Our products are produced in high quality 3rd party CMOS fabs and packaging facilities. Discera does the design work and we subcontract the manufacturing.
What are the emerging trends in CMOS?
In the semiconductor industry, CMOS is the most commonly used process for the manufacture of integrated circuits. Because CMOS leads the industry in investment dollars, it maintains a leadership position in smaller geometries, and has significant advantages in size, power, yields, capacity, and cost. More and more non-CMOS functions are moving towards CMOS to take advantage of this trend, as well as allowing integration with standard CMOS functions. RF functions, that were typically done in alternate technologies are now moving very quickly towards CMOS.

Our crystal oscillator products are pin for pin compatible with the industry standard footprints, so your system testing should be very simple, and once qualified for use in your systems, we can support a very fast ramp-up to production.
