Gene Jakubowski brings extensive sales management experience with global customer base
San Jose, CA, December 13, 2005
Close on the heels of announcing Tom Willey as Chief Executive Officer, Discera (www.discera.com) an analog fabless semiconductor company, and industry leader in CMOS MEMS technology, today announced the addition of Gene Jakubowski, to its management team, effective immediately. Mr. Jakubowski will report to Mr. Willey, and oversee Discera’s global expansion of its sales channels, and customer engagements as Vice President of Sales. The position is new.

Gene’s extensive experience building a world class sales organization and managing the sales process is critical to growing the business at Discera.”
Mr. Jakubowski brings 27 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. After seven years with TI, Gene joined VLSI Technology as an Area Sales Manager. During his 14 years at VLSI Technology, Gene was a VP of Sales with VLSI Technology for 9 years and was responsible for a variety of market segment and geographical territories, including PC, Digital Consumer, and Wireless market segments. In 2000, Gene joined Zeevo, Inc. as their first VP of WW Sales and helped Zeevo grow to over $15 Million in annual revenue in 2004 with key design wins at HP, Motorola, Logitech, and numerous tier 1 customers around the world."
